Florida Cup to Stream on Facebook Watch in Latin America

Orlando, Fla. – January 6, 2020 – Florida Cup announces today a partnership to stream exclusively the Florida Cup 2020 Championship on Facebook Watch across Spanish-speaking countries in Latin America, which includes the exclusive live transmission of all four Florida Cup matches, except in Colombia, which will be non-exclusive. The agreement also includes the live streaming of the 5v5 Legends and Fan Fest concert. Matches will be available on Watch, through the Facebook Pages of Florida Cup and the Pages of the clubs playing the matches.

This is a new partnership for Florida Cup and marks the first time matches from the event will be broadcasted on Facebook Watch in Latin America. This partnership also extends the digital reach of the Florida Cup content posted across all official accounts and by influencers on social networks, which reached more than 100 million users in the 2019 edition.

FLORIDA CUP

On January 15, at 6pm (GMT-5), Corinthians, current three-time champion of São Paulo and twice champion in the last four editions of Brasileirão, faces Major League Soccer’s Eastern Conference Champions New York City FC. The same day, at 8.30pm (GMT-5) there will be a clash between Palmeiras, the Brazilian champion in 2016 and 2018, and Atlético Nacional, the winningest Colombian champion and 2016 Copa Libertadores Champion. Both matches will be held at Exploria Stadium, home of the Orlando City SC and the Orlando Pride, in downtown Orlando.

On January 18, Exploria Stadium will host the Florida Cup 2020 finals. NYCFC faces Palmeiras at 2pm (GMT-5), while Atlético Nacional plays against Corinthians at 5.30pm (GMT-5).

In the break between the two matches, one of the biggest singers in Brazil, the Bahian muse Ivete Sangalo, will be joined by Colombian superstar Manuel Turizo for a special extended performance for all in attendance. Tickets are available at www.FloridaCup.com.
